Fashion design, draping & pattern-making advanced course

This intensive and specific one-year program is organized around notions of fashion creation, garment quality, comfort and fit. It prepares fashion students wishing to pursue a career in fashion, particularly in activities that are the connection between design and production.

This course draws on the specific methods used by the biggest Parisian couture and luxury fashion houses.

The teaching is based on a reinforcement of creative and technical skills, through the traditional know-how, a high level of draping and pattern-making.



Students benefit from a student’s status: affiliation to the Social Security system is compulsory for all students under the age of 28. A proof of affiliation to this system will be asked at the beginning of the school year. Older students can be affiliated to a private insurance. The Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne is a day school and does not provides accommodation.

Upon registration at the school, students are automatically insured against accidents linked to school-life, including during internships in France or abroad.
