The organization of the apprenticeship programmes is built upon the classic principle of a week at the company, followed by a week at the Apprentice Training Centre.

All the above-mentioned courses involve both general teaching and vocational training.

  • CAP Dressmaking
  • CAP Women’s suits
  • CAP Hat-making and millinery

Vocational Training :

  • Assembling techniques and finishes : acquiring know-how techniques specific to couture and luxury ready-to-wear
  • Tracing and cutting the pattern
  • Fabric technology
  • Knowledge of fabrics and materials
  • Fashion drawing
  • Technical drawing -VETIGRAPH PDS, in the second year
  • Costume history, in the second year

 

General Teaching :

  • French (expression)
  • History/Geography
  • Maths and Science
  • Safety/Security/Environment
  • English

The BREVETS PROFESSIONNELS (BTEC Second)

  • BP Dressmaking
  • BP Women’s suits
  • BP Men’s suit

Vocational Training :

  • Pattern-making : draping (except for the men’s suits BTEC)
  • Tracing and cutting the pattern
  • Fabric technology
  • Knowledge of fabrics and materials
  • Fashion drawing
  • Technical drawing (VETIGRAPH PDS)
  • Costume history

General Teaching:

  • French (expression)/World culture
